08. Concentrated Phase Analysis

This course is designed for the Level I or Level II analyst that wishes to add field analysis capability to their PdM trending programs. Some introductory information is provided, however the attendee is expected to understand the basics of vibration and spectral analysis concepts. The Class is presented in an Unbiased Format, Generic to Industry Hardware and Software Products. This is a "Hands-on" course in part. This course is considered "Hands-on" in that multiple in-class Demonstrations are included to Support and Emphasize Important Vibration Topics. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own Instruments and PdM Software, although this is not a requirement. The Instructor will provide several in-class Demonstrations to Support and Emphasize Important Phase Analysis Topics.

The Course includes a "Practical" examination to be worked out with several motor demonstrator units. The examination holds no formal "certificationÓ value but the course hours can be added to other ASNT VA-2 / ISO CAT3 vibration and field analysis requirements.

This course was designed by Full Spectrum Diagnostics to "meet" or "exceed" the minimum requirements of the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) Vibration Analysis method outlined in ASNT SNT-TC-1A Recommended Practice and the minimum requirements of the International Standards Organization (ISO) Specification Document ISO 18436-1 and ISO18436-2 with respect to course content, instruction hours, and examination format.
